Having problems installing DOS products
I've lost touch and am unable to install this software. I've done the obvious such as amending PATH to embrace all DBASE directories and sub-directories, plus sprinkling copies of UNZIP.EXE into the same directories etc. The latter brought obvious progress but I am unable to progress beyond "Unable to find C:\DBASE\SYSTEM". Your advice would be much appreciated.

Installing from the set of floppy disk formats
OK - just unzip all files in all disk directories into a single directory. Use the cmd/cd command to go to the directory. Best that you allocate a simple directory structure like d:\\dbase etc. Having now loaded all files in one run install.exe - enter the information. There should now also be unzip.exe in this directory - so it should unzip perfectly. Make sure you put the source drive not to A: but to the drive you have the simple directory.
It should install all at once - with no prompts. You will need to change config.db to have the code page for the system - but dBASE should work if you ignore the error.
Good luck - I just tried it - seems to work just fine ( I have NT ).
